Sotz’ es una banda de Death Metal de Portugal. ‘Popol Vuh’ es el álbum debut de la banda.
Sotz’ es una banda que está inspirada en la historia, teología y cultura de la antigua civilización Maya. A lanzado un EP titulado ‘Tzak’ Sotz” (2017). Actualmente su formación es Dan Vesca (vocal), João Rocha (guitarra), Pedro Magalhães (guitarra), Emanuel Ribeiro (bajo) y Luis Moreira (batería).
‘Popol Vuh’ fue producido, mezclado y masterizado en Titanforged Productions. Su lanzamiento fue el 2 de Noviembre de 2020. Tiene colaboraciones de Stefano Franceschini (Aborted y Hideous Divinity), Ricardo Pereira (Moonshade) y Sérgio Pinheiro (Dark Oath). Credo quia Absurdum se encargó de hacer la portada del álbum y en el logo se encargó Joël Martins (Titanforged Productions).
Sotz’ estará presente en Vagos Metal Fest 2021 en el verano en Portugal junto a Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Testament, Asphyx, Kataklysm y otras bandas más.
